Nonsense or not, who thinks pollution is a good idea?
Mike, hello. I'm surprised that anyone would comment on anything I post. Thanks for dropping by and typing your voice. I hope all is well with you and yours. BTW, Happy belated New Year. I've been spending my time in an attempt to become successful at short term swing and day trading the Forex currency market. The exchange rates can only go up or down, but thus far I'm quite bad at predicting which way.Pollution is a great evil. CO2 is not a pollutant. If governments spend much of their abatement budgets flailing at the GW windmill, they won't have funds to clean up actual messes. Those who advocate the religion of human caused global warming do so by faith. The science is not on their side. See R.M. Carter's informative article, *The Myth of Dangerous Human Caused Climate Change*[gratuitous Ayn Rand quote: "To live, man must hold three things as the supreme and ruling values of his life: Reason—Purpose—Self-esteem. Reason, as his only tool of knowledge—Purpose, as his choice of the happiness which that tool must proceed to achieve—Self-esteem, as his inviolate certainty that his mind is competent to think and his person is worthy of happiness, which means: is worthy of living."Galt’s Speech, For the New Intellectual, 128.]
I used to read your posts on DC and I read here when you do post. If it doesn't go completely over my head, or require me to read six different books to comprehend, I may have a comment. Apparently this is the first time. ;-) I have always enjoyed your writing.I'll take a look at Carter's piece.
Robert,As a contributor to the effort to expose the sham, I am happy to see the thinning of ad hoc belief in the AGW game. The AGWers did not help their cause by admitting in writing and on open mic that it does not bother them that they totalized and terrorized, that the true agenda was to assist wealth distribution around the world and deconstruct capitalism, especially energy capitalism. Both Hansen and Gore have admitted this now. They must be shocked how quickly the tide has turned. Thank goodness for the internet and the the remaining aspects of free speech.John Donohuejrdonohue.comearthintime.com
